TORONTO, ON – August 13, 2025 – While many Canadians are dreaming of sun-soaked beaches and open roads, organized insurance crime is working overtime to turn those dreams into nightmares. Équité Association is putting Canadians firmly in the driver’s seat, arming them with the knowledge and tools to spot and stop insurance crime before it puts a dent in their summer plans. Through its “Fraud Never Takes a Vacation” campaign Équité is sounding the alarm on emerging fraud trends, empowering everyone to recognize the red flags and protect themselves from becoming an unwitting victim.

Équité is providing Canadians with practical easy-to-understand summer tips to proactively avoid common insurance fraud schemes, ensuring safer roads and a more secure summer for drivers and their communities.
