The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings to a non-technical audience.
This role will work closely with a team to support ongoing investigations. Their responsibilities will include proactively identifying insurance crime through the use of various fraud detection tools and criminal intelligence techniques. They will analyze trends and patterns to uncover fraudulent activities and contribute to the prevention of insurance fraud.
The Investigator, Auto Theft, reports to the Director, Auto Theft, Ontario, providing comprehensive support to the Investigative Services Team (ISD). This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
The Product Owner role is primarily responsible for creating the technical requirements for the Technology Solutions team(s) and support the team(s) in their Agile processes. Working with the Director, Head of Technology Solutions and the Technology Solutions team(s), the role will ensure best practices in creating and maintaining best practices in technical requirements gathering, building a roadmap and ensuring the sustainable health of the backlog for the sprints.
Reporting to the VP, Chief Data & Technology Officer (CDTO), the Director, Head of Technology Solutions oversees the development and maintenance of the ‘ÉQ Insights’ analytics platform, which includes an AWS Data Lake, and supports vendor technologies to deliver fraud alerting and network link analysis.
